Caring for Dried or Silk Flowers...
The best dried or silk flower care is in
how you display your floral arrangements. The
best place to display your dried floral arrangements
is indoors. Keep your dried floral arrangements away
from direct light, sunlight, high humidity and heat.
These conditions can cause colors to fade or to bleed.
To clean your dried
floral arrangement there are some spray on cleaners
made especially for dried floral arrangements that
you may use. You may also use a hair dryer on the 'NO
HEAT' setting and gently blow away the dust. A
feather duster will work well too, but be gentle! To clean your silk flowers, simply
pull the flower heads off the stems, rinse in a warm
water with a mild soap solution. Place them on a towel
to dry. Once dry, put them back on the stems. Storage: If you are planning
on storing your dried floral arrangement until the
next season, store it in a box or carton. Place
a moth repellent to keep moths away. Moths love dried
flowers! You
may also use some cedar chips.
Following these simple silk
and dried floral care instructions will help
your Craft Creations stay looking as beautiful
as the day you received it!
